The design for Entrepreneurship Development Institute is an attempt at creating an indigenous, Indian vocabulary. It draws on lessons learned from vernacular, Islamic and colonial buildings, to enrich the modern aesthetic.
The architect and design consultants have thought of many states of art energy-efficient features which were ahead of time. The campus won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1992.

Jhaveri Associates provided Electrical and ELV for phase I of this Project and was also involved as MEP consultant for phase II of this project.
